Chairman of Tehran City Council:

No human beings zeal and conscience can remain silent facing Israels crimes

It is a while that Gaza has been the target of brutal attacks by the Zionist regime. The number of martyrs in this city has exceeded 11,000, of which more than 4,000 are children. In fact, Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, in the meantime, the managers of 6 pro-Palestinian cities from the countries of Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Nicaragua, Indonesia and South Africa, gathered in an online consultative meeting chaired by Mehdi Chamran, Chairman of Islamic City Council of Tehran and demanded a quick ceasefire. In this meeting Chamran emphasized: "Our goal is to take a humanitarian action to be effective for the homeless people who have been severely oppressed. Therefore, the first component is the all-round movement and desire of the freedom-loving nations of the world to end these bombings and finally destroy this cancerous tumor, and the next step is to build up Palestine." Mehdi Chamran also addressed all the freedom-loving people, especially the Muslim nations of Islamic countries, and reiterated that all of us bear a heavy responsibility towards Palestine and we should not be silent in the face of these crimes.

The Chairmn of the Islamic City Council of Tehran, while appreciating the city officials who were present at this meeting, said that benefiting from mutual thinking and cooperation we hope to be able to take an effective step to support Palestinians. He said: "Today, we see the homeless people of Gaza and Palestine, including women and children, are rolling around in their own blood, and it is the duty of every conscientious person to help the oppressed nation." Now it is exactly the time to be present on the scene so that we can hear and respond to the voices of the oppressed in the history with our practical help." Today, the voice of the oppressed Palestinian people can be heard with all ears. By saying this, he emphasized: "This voice has reached the ears of all the people of the world." We see hundreds of thousands of people protesting in the countries whose governments support Israel, the silence in front of the Gazan peoples who are requesting for help undermines humanity, and turning a blind eye to this tragedy will not be acceptable in the court of conscience.

At the end of his speech, Chamran stated that the effectiveness of measures regarding Palestine depends on the continuation of such meetings for consultation and creating synergy.

The issue of Palestine is a global issue

Reyna Juanita Rueda Alvarado, Mayor of Managua (South Africa):

Our government in different times has got the flag of confronting and condemning the actions of the Israeli regime. There is no reason for oppressed women and children to endure these harsh war conditions; therefore, as the government and nation of Nicaragua, we embrace the oppressed Palestinian nation and demand an end to this war.

The issue of Palestine is a global issue

Reyna Juanita Rueda Alvarado, Mayor of Managua (South Africa):

All nations and human consciences should move toward helping the Palestinian people to stop this bloodbath started by the Israel regime. Also, the ways of transferring humanitarian aid to Palestine should be opened and treatment measures with all facilities should be provided to the Palestinian victims. Today, if we do not raise our voice, human conscience will definitely be killed.

Governments have closed their ears

 Marwan Abboud, governor of Beirut:

What happened today in Palestine and Gaza is a massacre and crime against humanity. What we see today has never been seen in the history because the tyrants of history tried to hide their crimes, but today the public opinion of the world is witnessing a great human massacre. Governments have closed their ears facing such a tragedy, but the awakened and freedom-loving people protested in the capitals of the world because the Palestinian aspiration is a human aspiration.

Israeli genocide is an undeniable fact

Mohammad Tariq Ziyad Kirishati, the governor of Damascus:

The Palestinian issue is one of the important priorities in the policies of Damascus and the main concern of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The Palestinian war is a reality and the Israeli genocides are an undeniable fact. Therefore, all Muslim nations, Arab people, and international organizations should enter the field and demand an end to this genocide and not allow this massacre to continue.
