Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for bilateral cooperation between Tehran and Moscow

During the participation of Tehran urban management in the BRICS meeting headed by the Chairman of Islamic City Council of Tehran, a memorandum of understanding on innovative development, urban planning and joint cultural activities signed between Tehran and Moscow.

Tehran City Management delegation, headed by Mehdi Chamran, the Chairman of Islamic City Council of Tehran, on the sidelines of International Municipal Forum of BRICS while attended in several specialized meetings held on the 27th and 28th of August, signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of promoting innovative development, urban planning, environment, Tourism and Culture and Cultural Heritage signed between Tehran and Moscow with the presence of the Minister of the Government and the head of the Department of Foreign Economy and International Relations of Moscow.

Chamran and members of Tehran delegation also visited the BRICS exhibition and during the formal dinner at the invitation of the ambassador of Iran in Moscow had a detailed discussion about the development of relations between Tehran and Moscow and the conditions of the region.
