Over the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of Hamas

Condolence message from the Chairman of the Islamic City Council of Tehran

Mehdi Chamran, Chairman of the Islamic City Council of Tehran, expressed condolences over the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of Hamas, while wishing him achieving the supereminence.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَیْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ

("To God We Belong and To God We Return"

And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision)

I offer my condolences on the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas"s political office, to the Muslim Ummah, the oppressed people of Palestine, the Supreme Leader Imam Khamenei and all freedom seekers and justice seekers in the world.

Terrorism is condemned and this cowardly and malicious assassination of the illegitimate regime occupying Al-Quds revealed the scandal, crime and rapacity of this corrupt regime more than ever and proved to everyone that this cancerous tumor will not spare any inhuman and immoral actions to achieve its illegitimate goals. I believe that Islamic Iran, relying on the elements of authority and rationality, will give a harsh response to this great crime, and we will take revenge for the blood of this militant and mujahid martyr.
