The people of Iran and Nicaragua will win the fight against imperialism together
In a meeting with the mayor of Managua, the Chairman of the Islamic City Council of Tehran said: With the help of two nations, we can stand against the imperialism.
Mehdi Chamran, the Chairman of the Islamic City Council of Tehran, in a meeting with Reyna Rueda, the mayor of Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, emphasized on the mutual thinking and sharing the experiences of two capitals and hoped that they can work together to solve the problems of Tehran and Managua.
He further said: Tehran is several thousand years old and has been the capital of Iran for about two hundred years since the Qajar dynasty and is one of the most populous capitals in the Middle East and the world.
Chamran added: "Tehran, with a population of around twelve million, has many challenges, including problems in the field of housing, which in this regard Mr. Raisi"s government seeks to build four million housing units for the country and the capital."
He pointed out: Although the city administration is not responsible for the construction of these houses, but it can provide a great help to the government and likewise, we, as the city administrators of Tehran and Managua, can be together for solving the urban problems of two countries.
At the end of his speech in this meeting, Chamran said: the enemies of the two countries, Iran and Nicaragua, are trying to distort the world"s opinion towards the two countries with bad propaganda, and these ugly and anti-human thoughts can be stopped with targeted advertising.
In this meeting, Ms. Reyna Rueda, the mayor of Managua, while expressing her gratitude for being in the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said: This is my first time traveling to Iran, and I did not see what they said about your people, and what I saw was peace and It was a peace that I witnessed and observed in this trip.
She further said: The two countries of Iran and Nicaragua have a deep historical relationship and the two revolutions are sisters, which this is invaluable to us.
The mayor of Managua continued: Iran and Nicaragua have a lot in common, and our main commonality is the fight against global arrogance, that is, America, which is looking for our resources and wealth.
She explained: Our revolutions were people"s revolutions, and your officials have provided excellent services in various fields especially in health and vaccine development, which has encouraged your nation and the friendly nations.
At the end, she pointed to the cultural exchanges and demanded to name the streets of Tehran after national heroes of Nicaragua.
The mayor of Managua also announced that the streets of the country and the capital of Nicaragua will be named after Iranian national heroes in the near future.
